An international technology company needed an experienced expert to quickly strengthen its team in an automated testing system development project. The project was critical as it involved testing a new generation of smart devices on a tight schedule.
We were part of a multi-skilled team working on technical device and software testing. The team consisted of mechanics, electrical engineers and software experts. We played an active role in the team as quality assurance specialists, communicating actively between different stakeholders. We performed comprehensive testing in a 3D-simulated digital environment and with automated test robots. The testing covered test planning and test case creation, which were used as a basis for calibrating the movement paths and movement accuracy of the devices, among other things. Comprehensive performance and user interface tests were carried out on the equipment. Any findings were resolved in collaboration with experts from various fields. We also participated in the commissioning of the equipment and end-user training abroad. We also temporarily took on the role of Scrum Master in the project.
The reliability of the equipment was ensured in accordance with the customer's requirements, and the equipment was deployed to the end customer, including end-user training abroad. During testing, new tools and methods were introduced to improve the reliability of product development. The team's ability to utilise agile methods grew to a new level during the project.
