A new reinforcement has arrived backstage for the Wirokit band as Systems Specialist Julius Siukola joins the team. He's the man who ensures the stage is set, the lights are working, and the amps are dialed in—or in the digital world, that the data networks, Linux servers, and monitoring are in top-notch condition. Let's get to know this reliable specialist from Seinäjoki better.

Systems Specialist Julius Siukola has joined the Wirokit IT consultant band. He is our first band member to start working in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Julius ensures that the underlying IT infrastructure for software is rock-solid. His core expertise includes data networks, Linux environments, and with his recent degree in Cybersecurity Engineering, also information security.
With his hands-on and relentless attitude, Julius guarantees that even the most critical systems remain operational. When something simply has to work, Julius makes it work.
Julius's journey to the Wirokit consultant band has taken him from Ostrobothnia through the JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä, and now to Helsinki for a client consultancy role. He recently graduated as an Engineer from the "Data Networks and Cyber Defense" degree program. His studies provided a solid foundation in all the essentials: network management, cyber skills, coding, scripting, and project management.
Before his IT career, Julius was known on the football fields as a fast and smart right-winger who was always ready for a challenge. He brings these same qualities to his role as a technical specialist. Julius makes sure that the environments required by software are secure and functional.
As a team player, I learned the importance of playmaking and trust. I like to utilize these strengths in my work as well. That's how it all started, from an internship straight into practical work. Now it's great to be at Wirokit, developing a more secure networked world.
The team seems fun and distinctive; before this, I only knew Wirokit from the stadium name in Joupiska!
An interest in machines and devices has been in Julius's blood since he was young. Building his own gaming computers has been a deep dive into how hardware and machines really work. This hands-on attitude is still visible in Julius's work today: installing Linux environments and configuring data networks are tasks he enjoys. At the core of everything he does is one guiding theme: reliability.
Reliability is a really important thing for me. It's the foundation upon which you can build everything else. I want to deliver what is needed and what I promise.
This attitude is a perfect fit for the Wirokit stage. Julius is particularly motivated by working with services critical to the national infrastructure because their functionality is important to so many people. He understands that when building critical software and data network environments, there is no room for error. A constant desire to learn new things and develop himself ensures that the job will get done right.
And even though he doesn't have much experience playing an instrument, he has the courage to jump on stage: "I can't play anything, but in a band, I could grab a saxophone for show and rock on with the rest of them!"
The attitude is perfect! Welcome to the band, Julius!
Julius is our first band member to start in Helsinki. For him, reliability is a crucial matter. It is the foundation upon which everything can be built. He has always enjoyed working with machines and various devices, and now he gets to build critical data network environments that benefit many people.
