Software Developer Anne Virtaharju has joined Wirokit’s IT consulting band. Anne has a long career in software development, particularly within the telecom sector and embedded systems with core strengths in C/C++ development and comprehensive quality assurance. In her new role at Wirokit, she applies her extensive experience from a slightly new perspective. Alongside development work, Anne is highly dedicated to testing and solving challenging technical problems. In her spare time, she recharges in the countryside by spending time outdoors, reading, and orienteering.
Anne’s long career in software development began in 1998 at Nokia on the DX200 platform, where she became well-acquainted with signalling, administration, and MML configuration.
Since then, she has worked as a software developer, primarily in the telecom sector and with embedded systems. C/C++ development and versatile testing in the telecom network environment form the solid foundation of Anne’s expertise.
Now at Wirokit, Anne gets to apply her robust experience in a familiar environment, but from a slightly new angle:
“It feels good to work in a familiar environment, yet from a slightly different angle than before. In a way, I am working one layer lower this time,” Anne says, describing her new role.
Anne understands complex systems and is happy to help others solve challenging technical problems. In the development team, she does not shy away from work, but always tackles the task that is most critical to the project’s success—even if it is not always the most pleasant one. Often, this attitude leads her to write test cases and ensure uncompromising software quality.
