💥 Welcome to the band, Marko — bass in hand and ready for new software gigs! 💥

A new talent steps onto Wirokit’s stage — Marko Koivuporras, bringing with him deep expertise in integrating electronics and software into functional, reliable solutions. Marko has been involved in embedded system development since the early 2000s, when his studies in electronics and passion for technology naturally led him into the field.

Alongside his tech career, Marko also ran his own photography business for over a decade, but his interest in software development eventually brought him back to engineering systems.

Recently, Marko has also been exploring the use of artificial intelligence in software development, working on several AI Proof of Concept projects to better understand the potential of intelligent systems as technology evolves.

Marko is a true software generalist, whose strengths stand out in embedded systems and C/C++ programming.

He’s driven to build solutions where security and stability form the foundation of everything. A social and team-spirited bandmate, Marko brings positive energy and helps keep the group’s rhythm strong.

“I’m really excited! I get to work on new things — especially coding in C, which is definitely my thing. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can create together.”

Modern software systems are incredibly complex — sometimes containing millions of lines of code, where programming errors that may impact security are impossible to avoid completely. Instead of chasing perfection, experienced developers like Marko focus on designing systems that minimize risk from the start: ensuring data protection, encryption, secure input handling, and threat modeling early in the process.

In his latest projects, Marko has gained valuable experience with intelligent mobile machinery. He sees software reliability as crucial in this field, where systems are interconnected and remotely controlled through software logic.

With Marko joining the band, Wirokit’s groove only gets deeper — he’ll be laying down the bassline that keeps everything steady.
