Originally from Kristiinankaupunki, M.Sc. (Tech.) Markus Mattila headed to Tampere to study software engineering in 1995. This marked the beginning of a journey that led him to Nokia in 2000, working in mobile network product development—a path he has followed in various demanding roles up to this day.

Wirokit’s IT consulting band has been strengthened with new expertise in data processing and software design, as M.Sc. (Tech.) Markus Mattila joins our team. Markus has a long career in demanding product development roles and he brings solid expertise in managing massive datasets, scalable data pipelines, and low-level software development.
Now, Markus has seized the opportunity to join Wirokit's IT consulting band. At Wirokit, several colleagues from his Nokia years in the Tampere region were already waiting for him, so they found their rhythm right from the first beat.
For the past 10 years, Markus has worked on optimizing the location of mobile network base stations using data processing and analytics tools. One of his key strengths is a highly versatile mastery of programming languages and technologies. Thanks to his long and varied career, Markus is able to grasp new concepts quickly and apply them flexibly to new environments.
Markus's technical toolkit includes solid expertise in data processing solutions and low-level software development. In his hands, large and demanding datasets are transformed into manageable, valuable insights. Markus builds scalable data pipelines and database models capable of processing, filtering, and organizing massive volumes of data efficiently and reliably. In practice, this means converting and optimizing complex raw data into a format that supports critical decision-making.
Markus emphasizes that he is deeply reliable. What is agreed upon is delivered with high quality. He is an efficient, independent worker who is also ready to support and mentor others in overcoming challenges.
Even though Wirokit is known as a consulting band, Markus humorously admits that when it comes to music, he prefers to stay in the audience, enjoying the playing of others.
At the end of the day, when the computer is shut down, Markus prefers to unwind with board games. Board games often require the same strategic eye, logical reasoning, and planning that Markus applies daily when working with complex data streams and software solutions.

Markus describes himself as an unwaveringly reliable expert with an excellent ability to quickly adopt new environments and technologies.
